Dr. Yazan is International Lawyer and Arbitrator at Whitestone Chambers in London/United Kingdom, and the Co-founder and Managing Partner for Seraj Law in Jordan.
He is a full bilingual contentious and non-contentious lawyer (Arabic and English). Over more than 18 years, Dr. Haddadin has built a multinational and multilingual practice that spans sectors and regions. He worked on commercial, investment and construction disputes, and related contracts, as well as other commercial contracts within the infrastructure and property development sectors.
He advises governments, developers and corporates on procurement strategies, processes and contracts as well as investors, lenders and contractors on projects while in development or operation.
He is experienced in dealing with a variety of local, regional, and international arbitration disputes including ad hoc arbitration and institutional arbitration such as LCIA, ICC, DIAC, ADCCAC, and UNCITRAL.
He regularly advises on local, regional, and international laws. He is experienced in interpretation of conflicting local laws, and laws that may affect key fields including investment, commercial, construction, transportation and infrastructure. He further conducts benchmark in laws, legal due diligences, legal research, and legislation drafting.
He has advised on landmark transactions in the Middle East and has particular experience in complex cross-border transactions and major construction projects.
Regularly assisting international clients, both public and private, Dr. Haddadin has worked on high-profile transactions that have set new market precedent such as the US$2.5 billion Dubai Metro extension, and the Robo-taxi project in Dubai organized by the Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority in collaboration with Cruise, the General Motors subsidiary, a project that offer autonomous taxi and e-hailing services, a project valued over US$ 100 million.
Dr. Yazan is an international lawyer in the United Kingdom, an attorney admitted to the Jordan Law Bar and a certified International Arbitrator.
